Comprehensive Eye Examination
Our Doctors of Optometry offer comprehensive eye examinations for people of all ages. A comprehensive eye exam includes a health and vision history. This enables us to determine your vision demands in order to prescribe eyewear that meets your needs based on your occupation and lifestyle. Our doctors evaluate how your eyes function together as well as your best acuity to provide clear and comfortable vision. Eye health is a very important component of your eye examination. Many eye diseases develop without warning. Our doctors evaluate both the front of the eye and inside the eye looking for signs of cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy to name just a few. We now have the latest technology in retinal imaging with the ultra wide field camera called OPTOS.
Children require annual eye examinations as their eyes are growing and changing each year. 80% of learning is visual. Many learning difficulties have been found to be related to uncorrected vision problems, eyestrain and troubles with both eyes working together. Undetected and untreated vision problems often cause reading difficulties, and can cause the same signs and symptoms that are commonly attributed to issues such as ADHD, dyslexia and speech problems. A comprehensive eye exam with an optometrist is the only way to tell if your child's eye are developing properly. Many eye health problems can be treated if they are caught early.
We offer diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. If it is determined during your comprehensive eye exam that you may be at risk for glaucoma, you will be asked to return for a glaucoma work up which includes a computerized peripheral vision test as well as an optical coherence tomography of the nerves and corneas. Our doctors are qualified to manage most glaucoma cases. If it is determined that you need to see an ophthalmologist, then you will be referred for specialized care that may require laser treatment or surgery.

If you are new to contact lenses, our team will make sure to provide hands on training to ensure proper insertion, removal and care of contact lenses. Our doctors assess the contact lenses to ensure proper fitting and vision and follow up to make contact lens wear comfortable and successful.
Ultra Wide Digital Retinal Photography With Optos
Digital retinal photography technology takes high resolution images of the retina and optic nerve inside the eye to monitor ocular health in people with diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma and other conditions. We now offer the latest technology in retinal photography with OPTOS. It enables us to capture the largest field of view of the retina in one image. It also allows us to view different layers of the retina which can help to detect eye diseases sooner.
Optical Coherence Tomography
Optical Coherence Tomography or OCT is the latest technology in retinal and optic nerve imaging. The OCT is a system that combines a laser scanning camera and specialized computer software that gives an image of the optic nerve and retina. The OCT is a valuable tool in helping to detect changes in the optic nerve related to glaucoma and the retina in wet macular degeneration. It can help to detect early stages of glaucoma, wet macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy as well as other diseases of the retina.
